WHAT’S IT ABOUT

Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater threat. Batman and Wonder Woman quickly recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes in Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash, it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

MOVIESinMO REVIEW

After years of wanting and waiting, it finally happened – a big-budget live-action Justice League movie. I saw it, you saw it, we all saw it. SO WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!? Who wrote this piece of crap? I waited forever for someone to do justice for the Justice League, and this is what I got. Do you want to know what I think happened? This is what happens when Hollywood gets too involved. This happens when people who aren’t fans of the material write or direct what they don’t know or care about. Where’s Batman’s personality? Why is Cyborg so pissed off all the time? Who said it was OK to make the Flash the ONLY comic relief? We can’t rely on Wonder Woman to carry the film alone, can we? Let’s not forget about Aquaman. He was great. Another issue with this movie is the lack of character development. I know Batman, so there’s no need to talk about him. I know about Wonder Woman thanks to her fantastic movie. Superman is dead, which is what you would know if you saw the equally bad Batman vs. Superman. That leaves three characters, Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman, needing a real story, not a quick ten-minute synopsis within an already lousy movie. There’s no reason to waste your money on this film. If you really want to see it, wait until your friend rents it and watch it at their house. All in all, the Justice League needs a lot of work. Actually, it needs to be completely redone. Wonder Woman’s movie was fantastic. Get that writer, director, and producer to do all DC movies from now on.
