In Jumanji: Open World, the premise flips: instead of humans getting sucked into the video game, the game breaks out of its console and leaks into the real world. The iconic avatars (played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan) materialize in reality, stuck in a glitchy “demo mode,” forcing Spencer, his friends, and family to step up and dive back into the game to stop the two realities from merging completely.
