MOVIESinMO REVIEW

The first forty-five minutes of Always & 4Ever was great. I thought this movie would be one of those films people talk about for years after its release. Well, part of that is right. People will definitely be talking about it, but not for any positive reasons. Always & 4Ever had a great start. The flashback was a bit cheesy, but it works for what they wanted to do. The acting was above average, and the story was very believable. And then they tried to end it. Apparently, trying to complete a thriller is somewhat of a challenge. This movie had so much right. They gave us a decent backstory. Each main character had a different role to play, and there was just the right amount of vagueness to hide who the real culprit was without being too predictable. Everything was (movie) perfect until the strange events became too easy to decipher. Not much can be said without spoiling it for those with 90-minutes they don’t need. So to recap, the first 45-minutes – good movie. The next 15-minutes – a reason to end the film. The last 30-minutes – way too much time for the final scene and ultimate end to this travesty that should have only been released on a cable station equivalent to Lifetime.
